HARD EVIDENCE of Evolution
Friday, December 21, 2007 By Your-Rights.com
'HeLa' cells came from a cancer tumor inside Henrietta Lacks body.
Is the HeLa cell a new species?
In 1991 the scientific community decided it was, and blessed HeLa cells with its own genus and species: Helacyton gartleri, named by Van Valen & Maiorana.
That would make Helacyton gartleri an example of speciation, which is when a new species (HeLa cells) is observed developing from another (in this case, a HUMAN).
There is quite a bit of (political) controversy concerning this for the obvious reason that this is very strong evidence supporting evolution which contradicts the concept of Creationism.
Some people never learn from the mistakes of others. Not to long ago, people believed the world was flat, even when science proved it was round.
Help for those still 'in denial'...
Denial - The negation in logic.
In denial - Refusing to acknowledge a painful reality
Painful reality - Evolution is REAL.
