There are more people who believe in "conspiracy theories" than you may think. Question everything you're told. If it doesn't make sense, then something is wrong. Do some research and investigate!
"It never fails, there are always people out there who never check into the evidence, they simply reject it and then commit themselves to making ad hominem attacks and trying to make us rational people appear to be tinfoil hat-wearing clowns." -- Jon
"When the government fears the people, you have liberty. When the people fear the government, you have tyranny." ~ President Thomas Jefferson

Please watch all nine segments of this short video compilation that shows how the main stream media sanitizes and filters what we know. It's doesn't last very long, please take the time to watch.
If you took time to watch these video's, you have seen some prime examples of how the media has glamorized the war and sanitized and censored what you know. As the video's have shown, even if they run a correction later, the damage has already been done. The myth perpetuates.
The government and the main stream media carefully select what you may see on your television. They are very careful to limit or censor anything that may cause a PUBLIC REACTION.
Just remember, these same ''objective'' and ''unbiased'' media networks tell us what they want us to know about ''their'' presidential candidates. Any other candidates, such as Dennis Kucinich or Ron Paul, are minimalized or IGNORED ENTIRELY, whenever and wherever possible.
DO YOU KNOW... How many people are running for the Presidency of the United States of America? You might be surprised at THE ANSWER.
How is it that you probably have never heard of these other candidates?
Is it really a fair election if any one of these other candidates would be much better than the candidates the main stream media supports?
It is up to you... all of us, to make sure that elections are fair and that our votes are counted accurately.
We must devise a publicly funded system where every person who desires to run for president has just as much a chance at becoming president as any other candidate.
We need PUBLICLY FUNDED ELECTIONS! Is it fair that only the most wealthy of candidates get national exposure and those who are not wealthy remain unknown?
FRONTLINE: Bush's War - Trace the evolution of President Bush's war on terror from 9/11 to the present.
BUYING THE WAR - How did the evidence disputing the existence of weapons of mass destruction and the link between Saddam Hussein and 9/11 continue to go largely unreported?
We the undersigned are supporting the emergency mobilization of the people demanding that there be no new restrictions on free speech or protest related activities on the National Mall in Washington D.C. This is the real objective of the Bush Administration's plans for the National Mall.
Unless we take action, the Bush Administration, as one of its final acts, will leave office having dramatically altered access of the people to public lands that have been the site of the most significant mass assembly protests in U.S. history.
The National Mall has been the historic site for the people of the United States to come together to seek equality, justice, and peace. These activities are the lifeblood of a democracy. The National Mall is not an ornamental lawn. The National Mall performs its most sacrosanct and valued function when it serves as the place of assembly for political protest, dissent and free speech.
We oppose any efforts to further restrict protest on the Mall, to relegate protest to a government-designated protest pit or zone, to stage-manage or channel free speech activity to suit the government, or to stifle or abridge our rights to expression upon the public forum that is the National Mall. We call for a moratorium on further actions by the National Park Service that would in any way channel, restrict or inhibit the people's use of the National Mall in furtherance of our First Amendment rights.

"I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations." -- James Madison (1751-1836)
Let's also not forget what our wonderful President once said:
"There ought to be limits to freedom." -- George W. Bush, May 21, 1999
Apparently George Bush wasn't kidding when he said that! Take a look at the liberties we have lost since Bush has been President!
"Habeas Corpus is the name of a legal action or writ by means of which detainees can seek relief from unlawful imprisonment. The writ of habeas corpus has historically been an important instrument for the safeguarding of individual freedom against arbitrary state action." -- Wikipedia
"This is the key protection that people have if they're held in violation of the law," said Erwin Chemerinsky, a Duke University law professor who has criticized the administration's actions on civil liberties. "If there's no habeas corpus, and if the government wants to pick you or me off the street and hold us indefinitely, how do we get our release?" -- SF Gate
"What a curious phenomenon it is that you can get men to die for the liberty of the world who will not make the little sacrifice that is needed to free themselves from their own individual bondage." -- Bruce Barton (1886-1967)
"The Constitution doesn't say every individual in the United States or every citizen is hereby granted or assured the right of habeas," Gonzales told Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Jan. 17. -- huffingtonpost
"Today, consent of the governed is a presumptive aspect of all democracies. Indeed, any government that cannot plausibly claim to rule by consent of the governed tends not to enjoy the benefit of the doubt about their legitimacy, either by their own people or the peoples of other nations." -- Wikipedia
"Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear." -- Harry S. Truman
Take a good, hard look at what is going on in the United States and around the world. It doesn't get any more real than this! We are either going to sink or swim. Which one are YOU going to do?

We have until July 16th to defend a free and open Internet at the FCC. The agency needs to hear from you about Net Neutrality -- the principle that stops AT&T, Verizon and Comcast from controlling where you can go online.
If you value the Internet, PLEASE don't procrastinate! See more info about this issue at the end of this article.
Thousands of people have already told their stories (see below) urging the FCC to protect Net Neutrality. Now it's your turn:
You need to act now before the FCC closes its comment period. If we flood them with comments in support of Net Neutrality, the FCC will be pressed to stand up to the giant phone and cable companies that seek to undermine free choice on the Web.
At SavetheInternet.com, you can read stories from others, view photographs, and join the fight to make the Internet affordable, open and accessible to everyone. You can even create your own personal comment page to share with others. Go there now to see our new video:
This may be the best chance we have this year to demonstrate to Washington that protecting the free and open Internet is an issue that matters to millions of Americans. The FCC needs to know why Net Neutrality is important to you. Tell them how an open Internet impacts your daily life, your business and your ability to connect with others.
To save the Internet, we need to flood the FCC with stories from people around the country. Can you ask five friends to send their stories to the FCC?
"The greatest hope that this country has is the reconnection of American voices with our political system. The Internet is the first medium that is truly interactive, in which one person's voice can reach millions. HIGH TREASON
"Formerly, the punishment for high treason was of a most barbarous character... Women were burnt. A male traitor was dragged or drawn to the place of execution and hanged; but while still alive, he was cut down and disembowelled. His head was then severed from his body which was quartered. The head and quarters, which were at the Kings disposal, were usually exposed in some conspicuous place--the Temple Bar being a favourite spot--after being boiled in salt to prevent putrification and in cumin seed to prevent birds feasting on them." -- 1952: James Avery Joyce: Justice At Work: (this edition Pan 1957) Page 105. Recent proposals in the U.S. Congress are taking a huge swipe at freedom in America once again by aiming to impose multiple different forms of crippling taxation and restriction on users of the internet.
Several bills were introduced last week that could see all manner of new forms of internet taxation become a reality before the end of the year.
Make no mistake, the internet, one of the greatest outposts of free speech ever created is under constant attack by powerful people who cannot operate within a society where information flows freely and unhindered. Both American and European moves mimic stories we hear every week out of State Controlled Communist China, where the internet is strictly regulated and virtually exists as its own entity away from the rest of the web.
The Internet is freedom's best friend and the bane of control freaks. Its eradication is one of the short term goals of those that seek to centralize power and subjugate their populations under a surveillance panopticon prison.
My name is Adam Kokesh, and I need your help. Because of my involvement in IVAW, I have been singled out and called for a military hearing to be made an example of for those of us who have spoken out against the war. I have been an active member of IVAW for a mere four months, but have already garnered enough attention to be perceived as a threat by those using our military to maintain political support for the occupation of Iraq.
Because my second activation as a reservist extended past my six-year obligation, I am only in the Inactive Ready Reserve from my honorable discharge from active duty last November to June 18th. After my discharge, I moved to Washington, DC to get a Master's in Political Management at GWU, and joined IVAW. I have since appeared on behalf of IVAW speaking at concerts, universities, and high schools. I have written about my views on the occupation and my military experience for the IVAW website and on my blog.
The hardest speech to protect is the kind you dislike the most. Just like me, most any person would think the behavior of the two girls in this video is horrible. However, would those same people fight for the girls' right to speak?
Free speech is one of the most important rights that Americans have. It would be very easy to try to have hate-speech banned. That's why it is so important to fight for the rights of everyone without being selective of only the types of people who say things you like. Once you start trying to ban the types of speech that you don't like, you open the door for others to ban the types of speech that you like!
What is interesting to notice here, especially for those who find this video to be shocking, is how you can very easily notice the girls racist, pro-hitler, nazi hate-speech propaganda, but could you easily hear the propaganda if they were talking about Jesus? The movie Jesus Camp exposes this same type of propaganda being taught to kids as what you can see with the nazi girls. It is people taking advantage of others naiveity. If you don't understand what I am saying, think about it a little and then think about it a lot! Then think about how people have been brainwashed into doing things any "normal" person would never do such as people who trade their Liberty for Security!
DETROIT -- In an American Civil Liberties Union case, a federal court today ruled that the Bush administration's program to monitor the phone calls and e-mails of Americans without warrants is unconstitutional and must be stopped. This is the first ruling by a federal court to strike down the controversial National Security Agency surveillance program.
"Today's ruling is a landmark victory against the abuse of power that has become the hallmark of the Bush administration," said Anthony D. Romero, Executive Director of the ACLU. "Government spying on innocent Americans without any kind of warrant and without Congressional approval runs counter to the very foundations of our democracy. Now Congress needs to do its job and stop the president from violating the law."
Today's ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Anna Diggs Taylor agreed with the ACLU that the NSA program violates Americans' rights to free speech and privacy under the First and Fourth Amendments of the Constitution, and runs counter to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) passed by Congress. Judge Taylor also rejected the government's argument that the case could not proceed because of state secrets, saying that facts about NSA wiretapping have already been conceded by the government.

- Freedom of speech in jeopardy as university instructor speaks up about 9/11
Despite the melodramatic title, this is a fine upbeat piece on Kevin Barrett's 9/11 truth battle in Wisconsin with excellent action suggestions at the end. Kevin's resolve, spirit, and increasing mastery of 9/11 soundbyte distillation are both inspiring and instructive for anyone speaking truth to power today. - Ed.
This week brought disturbing news to the 9/11 Truth community as Dr. Kevin Barrett, co-founder of the Muslim Christian Jewish Alliance for 9/11 Truth (MUJCA) faces more than summertime heat as his livelihood stands in the balance with a possible loss of his fall teaching assignment at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The border dispute is about more than fences and radar. It's about what it means to provide humanitarian aid. We'll have an update on the NO MORE DEATH's case where two humanitarian activists are about to be tried for treason. Then, a whistleblower inside the government shares information on no-bid contracts for detention camps -- Kellogg, Brown and Root is readying 20,000 beds for "an immigration emergency." And meet a group of students in LA who are organizing some of the largest street rallies in U.S. history.
"Free-Speech Zone" Bush administration quarantines dissent. When Bush travels around the United States, the Secret Service visits the location ahead of time and orders local police to set up 'free speech zones' or 'protest zones' where people opposed to Bush policies (and sometimes sign-carrying supporters) are quarantined. These zones routinely succeed in keeping protesters out of presidential sight and outside the view of media covering the event. The local police, at the Secret Service's behest, set up a "designated free-speech zone" on a baseball field surrounded by a chain-link fence a third of a mile from the location of Bush's speech. A 65-year-old man went to jail only because he was peacefully holding a sign stating "The Bush family must surely love the poor, they made so many of us." The man said, "If the Bush administration has its way, anyone who criticizes them will be out of sight and out of mind." See LOT's more news on how your right to FREE SPEECH is taken away when you try to publicly voice your opinion near President George W. Bush!
The right to free speech faces the strongest challenges during times of crisis. Whether or not any of us agree about each particular decision made to prevent public access to sensitive information, it is the Electronic Frontier Foundation's responsibility to chart any such efforts so that we as a society are at least aware of what is no longer available to us.
This page attempts to convey the chilling effect that responses to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, have had on information availability on the Internet as well as some sense of the effect on people trying to provide this information.

Is History Repeating Itself?
"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar."
