There are more people who believe in "conspiracy theories" than you may think. Question everything you're told. If it doesn't make sense, then something is wrong. Do some research and investigate!

In 2004, plans were put into motion to crack down on voter registration drives in poor and minority communities, suppressing votes and stripping citizens of a constitutional right. Evidence points to Karl Rove as the mastermind behind this plan and it's time he was held accountable. Join the Secretary of State Project and thousands of Americans in urging the House to take a stand against Rove today.
The GOP's master trickster has his fingerprints all over a dirty scheme to suppress our votes. It's exactly the kind of scheme that the Secretary of State Project was formed to fight. And right now, we have a unique chance to hold Rove accountable for his acts.
For those not following Rove's story, here's a bit of background. In 2004, Justice Department lawyers started getting strange instructions from Washington -- crack down on voter registration drives. But not all registration drives, mind you; just ones that registered poor and minority voters. The idea was to harass progressive organizations and keep poor and minority citizens from getting to the polls.
Many Justice Department lawyers, Republicans and Democrats alike, balked at these unscrupulous orders. They (rightly) refused to carry out a partisan witch hunt. And wouldn't you know it, Washington started cracking down on THEM -- firing a host of them and passing up others for promotion, in what came to be known as the U.S. Attorneys Scandal.
But who gave the vote-suppression orders in the first place? All signs point to Karl Rove. A long trail of evidence indicates that Rove cooked up and executed the whole scheme. To uncover the truth, the House of Representatives has launched an investigation. They sent Rove a subpoena. He ignored it. Repeatedly.
Now, the House is considering a measure to hold Rove in contempt of Congress. Last Wednesday, the House Judiciary Committee voted, 20-14, to hold Rove in contempt. The vote now goes to the full House. If found guilty, he could go to jail. No, it's not enough punishment for his years and years of crimes, but it's a huge start.
By holding Rove in contempt, we'll send a loud and clear signal to all Bush's cronies -- America's elections must be free and fair. Voter suppression will not be tolerated.
After you sign the petition, consider making a contribution to the Secretary of State Project and our candidates. Support from donors like you helped us raise $500,000 in 2006 and win 5 of our 7 elections. Help us continue building the movement against voter suppression, stolen elections and dirty tricksters like Karl Rove.

It's time to contact your Senators once again. As early as Monday, the Administration and its allies are trying to end Senate debate on FISA and telecom immunity and force a vote on the Senate Intelligence Committee's bill -- a bill that would broadly expand the executive branch's spying powers while granting immunity to telecoms that broke the law and assisted in the NSA's illegal domestic spying.
Every time you've taken action to fight against immunity, it's made a huge difference. In November, your calls and emails helped to ensure that the Senate Judiciary Committee did not include telecom amnesty in its surveillance bill, and in December your calls and emails helped convince Harry Reid to delay the vote until January. Both times, the pundits assumed we didn't stand a chance, and both times we proved them wrong.
On January 22, 2007, Rep. Virgil H. Goode, Jr. introduced H.CON.RES.40 titled "Expressing the sense of Congress that the United States should not engage in the construction of a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Superhighway System or enter into a North American Union with Mexico and Canada."
Alex jones and his crew has compiled a long list of news articles that mention the North American Union.
We have witnessed a congressional bill describing the North American Union. We have Alex Jones' huge list of news articles about it, yet people still won't believe it is real!
Pastor "believes a new 9/11 crisis could be the catalyst to merge the U.S., Mexico and Canada."
"The memoirs of Jean Monnet, regarded as the architect of European unity, finally disclosed he had used a strategy of deceit, knowing his plan to form a European Union would never succeed if it were openly disclosed."
"There has never been a more urgent need to preserve fundamental privacy protections and our system of checks and balances than the need we face today, as illegal government spying, provisions of the Patriot Act and government-sponsored torture programs transcend the bounds of law and our most treasured values in the name of national security." -- ACLU
"Seat belt legislation started with child-restraint laws, then secondary enforcement, and finally a full-on mandate in the majority of states. Why does this legislative escalation occur? It's simple. The federal government just incentivizes their proposal so that each state, and by extension its citizens, feel like they have no choice but to go along with their program."
The Senate plans to take up legislation as early as this week to rein in the Bush Administration's spying powers by reforming the controversial Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Caroline Fredrickson, director of the Washington Legislative Office of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), says that when Congress rushed through wiretapping legislation this past August, they made a grave mistake.
"The Administration bill basically writes August's mistake in stone," she wrote in a press release Tuesday. "It does nothing to protect Americans' communications and violates the Fourth Amendment requirement that courts supervise any spying on American soil."
"The surveillance program began in February of 2001. It had nothing whatsoever to do with the attacks of 9/11. These phone companies are cooperating with the government, not out of a sense of patriotism, but because they're being paid to do so. They're profiteers, not patriots.
"If the Congress grants these companies retroactive immunity it will mean they have no regard for the rule of law they took an oath to uphold. I've taken no oaths. The rule of law will mean absolutely nothing to me if this comes to pass."
Peaceful protesters at the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) summit in Montebello have captured sensational video of hired agent provocateurs attempting to incite rioting and turn the protest violent, only to encounter brave resistance from real protest leaders.
A video, posted on YouTube, shows three young men, their faces masked by bandannas, mingling Monday with protesters in front of a line of police in riot gear. At least one of the masked men is holding a rock in his hand, reports the Canadian Press.

"I have no hesitation in saying they were police agents . . . and they were caught red-handed."
"To a certain extent it's self-fulfilling logic. You provide police with this kind of equipment and they end up using it and one way to justify it is to plant some people that toss a rock or two."
When completed, the highway will run from Mexico City to Toronto, slicing through the heartland like a dagger sunk into a heifer at the loins and pulled clean to the throat. It will be four football fields wide, an expansive gully of concrete, noise and exhaust, swelled with cars, trucks, trains and pipelines carrying water, wires and God knows what else. Through towns large and small it will run, plowing under family farms, sub-developments, acres of wilderness. Equipped with high-tech electronic customs monitors, freight from China, offloaded into non-unionized Mexican ports, will travel north, crossing the border with nary a speed bump, bound for Kansas City, where the cheap goods manufactured in booming Far East factories will embark on the final leg of their journey into the nation's Wal-Marts.
And this NAFTA Superhighway, as it is called, is just the beginning, the first stage of a long, silent coup aimed at supplanting the sovereign United States with a multinational North American Union.

A comment from the article:
"This could not be more obvious -- America is helping repress dissent in Paraguay to help certain corporate interests take over the economy of Paraguay. In this case, it is a multi-national corporate SOY producer who intends to take over the campesinos [locals] farmlands, without compensation. Dissenters and protesters are shot on sight, or put in jail for up to 40 years. That producer is CARGILL."

If you read all the information in those two posts AND THE LINKS, YOU will be "madder than a Hornet" and CALLING your Congressperson and telling them this:
"With the Executive plainly subject to an intense conflict of interest, the appointment of an independent special prosecutor - as occurred in the Valerie Plame leak case - is necessary. But unlike in the leak case, here, the entire Executive branch, including the Department of Justice, is implicated. So, to ensure fairness, Congress or a court must mandate the appointment.
"If the President can intentionally violate the laws of this nation, then the fundamental structure of our government has been forever altered."
You will call your congressperson, right?! Do you need to make a note to remember? Please don't forget about this!
JURIST Contributing Editor Marjorie Cohn of Thomas Jefferson School of Law, president of the National Lawyers Guild, says that FBI surveillance of National Lawyers Guild members and activities between 1940 and 1975 - highlighted in a recent New York Times report drawing on newly-released documents - was motivated by a desire to blunt the Guild's criticism of the FBI and, if possible, to destroy the organization...
My name is Adam Kokesh, and I need your help. Because of my involvement in IVAW, I have been singled out and called for a military hearing to be made an example of for those of us who have spoken out against the war. I have been an active member of IVAW for a mere four months, but have already garnered enough attention to be perceived as a threat by those using our military to maintain political support for the occupation of Iraq.
Because my second activation as a reservist extended past my six-year obligation, I am only in the Inactive Ready Reserve from my honorable discharge from active duty last November to June 18th. After my discharge, I moved to Washington, DC to get a Master's in Political Management at GWU, and joined IVAW. I have since appeared on behalf of IVAW speaking at concerts, universities, and high schools. I have written about my views on the occupation and my military experience for the IVAW website and on my blog.
This is my story, about why I chose to devote an insane amount of my time to show people the news stories that I felt were underreported, buried or simply not reported on at all by the mainstream press.
Over the past few years, try as I might, what I have been saying to some people seems to have been falling on deaf ears. Sometimes people have said that I was unpatriotic because I was against this war and any number of other negative comments. I paid them no attention. I continue to this day, trying to spread the real news stories the mainstream press doesn't want you to know about.
Shortly after George W. Bush stole the presidency, I remember making a comment to a friend about a gut feeling I had that we were headed for war. I felt that George W. Bush was very bad for America. Little did I know what would happen! You know the saying, "If I knew then what I know now..."
I used to watch a lot of FOX News back then. I liked FOX News because I felt they were giving us the news the other networks were failing to report. After a while, I started noticing the propaganda. I noticed sometimes right before FOX News showed commercials, they would state something about how great they were about giving us the news or some other similar statement.
It seemed odd to me that every single news anchor would repeat the same slogan, day after day. I remember shortly after this started, sometimes the news anchor would chuckle after saying it. It didn't take to much of that to figure out what was really going on. I started taking a much more critical look at the news stories I saw on FOX News. I also took a close look at how the stories were presented. I would compare what FOX News said against what I would read in the newspapers and see on the other networks. I noticed that the amount of propaganda on FOX News kept increasing over time.
During this time, George W. Bush was giving us his own set of propaganda. After my experience picking the propaganda out on FOX News, I started to pay more attention to the Bush administration propaganda. I would hear Bush say things that I knew weren't true. Then I would notice how Bush's lies were portrayed on FOX News and compared that to other stories that I saw and read. It angered me to see George W. Bush lying to America. It angered me even more to see how FOX News was so overzealous to spread Bush's lies.
Sometime in late 2002, I had all of Bush's lies that I could take. So, I decided to create this website to protest the propaganda and to give people the "News you won't see on Prime Time TV" as it used to say on my homepage.
All of my original stories are still on this website. Click on our blue logo to see them.
If you haven't noticed yet, I also have other websites.
WikiYourRights.com
I created WikiYourRights.com out of frustration. I was overwhelmed by the shear volume of important news that wasn't being reported in the mainstream press! I was also getting a bit burned out trying to keep up with everything. I kind of felt like the little kid who put his finger in the dike to stop the flood. The more I reported about news stories, the more I realized that there was even more stories to report! I felt creating a wiki would be a great way to allow other people to post information they felt others should know about.
Wiki's are really cool because anyone can edit almost anything in the wiki. If someone is reading a wiki and they see something they know isn't factual or have something else to contribute, even if it's just to fix a typo, it's very easy to do.
MyNetBlog.com
MyNetBlog.com isn't really a website. It's an easy to remember shortcut to get to my MySpace.com profile.
I have a lot of the same information in my MySpace profile that I feature in Your-Rights.com and in WikiYourRights.com. I also have a lot of movies and videos there.
Since MySpace.com is the largest social networking site on the planet, I figured it wouldn't be too difficult to find other people who shared my interest in sharing the real news. I found out that was true right away!
Over 100 MILLION people use MySpace. What percentage of 100 million people do you think dislike one or more of the following: George W. Bush, the occupation of Iraq, war profiteering, high gas prices, etc.? Needless to say, it didn't take very long to accumulate a lot of MySpace friends.
One thing I would like to point out is how important the Internet is to the dissemination of information! Without the Internet how would you discover all the hidden news stories that you don't find in the mainstream press?
It is critical that the Internet remain free and uncensored, open to people who want to learn and share!
See the movie "Sir! No Sir!" It aired on the Sundance channel the other day. It was great! I got the DVD, which has a lot more information that isn't in the movie. This movie shows how history was rewritten through the use of propaganda! It was a real eye opener! WATCH THIS MOVIE ! ! !
Well, that's all for now. I'm not done writing this... Check back later to see the rest of this article (and links).
Wow!!! After learning what I know about the events of September 11, 2001, I can clearly see the propaganda in action! Everything the FOX puppets say has already been debunked! Whether something is true or not doesn't stop FOX News from spreading it far and wide!!!
President George W. Bush has submitted a bill that would enact enormous, and enormously dangerous, changes to the 1978 law on eavesdropping. It would undermine the fundamental constitutional principle -- over which there can be no negotiation or compromise -- that the government must seek an individual warrant before spying on an American or someone living here legally.
Watch this video and refresh your memory on the NSA spying:
One Digg member, Grant Robertson, said the incident reminded him of a quote from "NewsRadio," the 1990s TV show: "You can't take something off the Internet. That's like trying to take pee out of a swimming pool." from the LA Times
Before the coming of George Bush and his shadow president Dick Cheney, the greatest military blunder in American History was thought to be Custer's Last Stand. It did not take a lot of hindsight to know that general Custer's vain assault on a much larger force of better-armed native Americans would come to no good end. His own turncoat Indian scouts told him the encampment at Little Bighorn was far too large to be attacked. They were changing back into their native clothes en masse so as not to be associated with the white man. But in his supreme arrogance Custer believed that HE knew better than his own best sources of intelligence. We all know the result of that one.
How uncanny are the parallels to the current situation in Iraq? The neocon ideologues who seized dictatorial control of our government brushed off all contrary advice and manufactured intelligence to support their case. They dismissed any challenge to their vision of the absolute power of American military dominance as a matter of right. They fired any underling who dared to try tell them the truth, that deposing Saddam would lead directly and inexorably to an Islamic theocracy, if not a sectarian civil war. They used the power of their crony associates in the corporate media to smear any public critic. And they are still doing it.
In case you had not noticed, the very first act of new secretary of defense was to order more troops to Kuwait to enable sending more of those serving there to guess where . . . Iraq. In other words, the self-anointed "decider" has already decided, to defy the will of the American people, their Congress, and the entire rest of world, for all it matters to him. In his mind, this is another one of those "done deals". The only thing that's taking so long to make the official announcement is the difficulty of yet another con job on us, with public opinion moving ever more forcefully in the opposite direction. Most of the remaining rubber stamp members of Congress are already coming down with a major case of cold feet, thanks to your voices, but George Bush does not care.
They've even had problems this time finding tinfoil hat strategists to sign on to this surge of stupidity. The best they could come up with was some chest pounder talking about "choosing" victory, as if this was just some kind of personal motivation seminar, and the Iraqi people themselves were to have no say at all in the matter. Why don't we have George Custer tell us that the number of Indians was of no consequence? The primary difference between him and what Bush has done is that Custer did not wreck the ENTIRE U.S. Army, Custer did not mortgage our whole economy for generations to come, and unlike Bush, he actually had the courage to enter mortal combat himself even one time.
You see, our child king has already declared that as long as he is president he is not budging an inch from Iraq. Take him at his word. You heard him say it. He is determined to take this country down with him in a pique of stubborn ignorance. He will not go out without a final surge of insanity and horror, and the only thing that can possibly save us all, and our future, is to finally stand up and hold him accountable for his high crimes and misdemeanors, enough to impeach every president who has ever served.
It is impossible to read the Constitution and not see George Bush's name writ large in every reference to the salvation of impeachment. If the founders had known his actual name it certainly would have been expressly stated there, just as they enumerated the many outrages of their own king George. And all that is required for it to happen is for enough of us to all speak out at the same time, to our members of Congress, in letters to the editor our newspapers, and it WILL be so. When Custer's Crow scouts told him in unison that he was out of his mind he let them go. It's not only time to let George Bush go, we must MAKE him go. NOW.
Please take action NOW, so we can win all victories that are supposed to be ours.
As we look back at the path Hitler took to power (notice how it seems to match the Bush administrations game plan), let us not forget the tragedy that happened in the United States during World War II.
Quote from the article:
"Manzanar was the first of 10 Japanese-American internment camps established west of the Mississippi during World War II. It opened in March 1942, a few weeks after President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066, authorizing relocation and internment of anyone who might be seen as a threat to the U.S. war effort. There were no relocation camps for German Americans or Italian Americans."

It appears that this story was originally printed in the The San Diego Union-Tribune on July 23, 2006. Here is the article:
They were the longest of lines and they were the shortest of lines. There was coffee being sold; there weren't enough places to sit down. They had a 90 minute wait before them; they had less than a 10 minute wait before them. One was going directly to vote center heaven and one, well, was not going that way.
Chuck Woodford and Tom Koetting, college buddies from West Virginia University, now live about 60 miles apart in Colorado - Chuck in Denver and Tom in Larimer County. Although they've shared many similar experiences in life - college, career, family - what they experienced on Election Day 2006 couldn't have been more different.
Washington Park Recreation Center, Denver Chuck decided to vote at the Washington Park Recreation Center because it's about a mile from his home. He arrived at the vote center around noon and encountered a lengthy line. He waited about 45 minutes just to get into the gymnasium where the voting was taking place.
Once inside the gym, Chuck got into another line to check in for voting. There were about 10 people left in front him before it was his turn to check in when suddenly, all activity seemed to halt inside the polling place. After advancing no further in line for several minutes Chuck and others in began to sense there was a problem.
And what a problem it was. The system to check in voters had gone down citywide.
About five chairs were offered, but not nearly enough for the many people in line. As time wore on folks waiting in line began to talk. When one voter took out his cell phone and placed a call, a volunteer quickly came and told him that talking on phones in the polling place - even with the voting halted - was discouraged.
"As you can imagine after waiting so long in line we all did start casually talking to one another, just flippant comments from time to time, nothing too deep or personal. One man in front of me said, 'We should be using paper ballots.' I called him a misguided visionary and we had a brief laugh at that," Chuck said.
Time began to drag on and Chuck, who has a two-year old son, marveled at the overall patience and good will of his fellow voters, especially the children accompanying their parents.
"I was pleasantly surprised at how tolerant we all were of the computer delay," Chuck said. "Now, granted we were about 15 feet away from the crashed computers so we could watch the progress as it happened. I'm sure it must have been very frustrating out in the hallway wondering what was going on."
During his more than 30 minute wait for the computers to come back up, Chuck said he only saw one voter walk away - a gentleman who ripped up his voter card and threw it in the trash as he left the building.
Once the computer system was back up and running, Chuck quickly made his way to the voting machine where he cast his ballot and headed about his day.
"After check-in, I immediately went to a voting station and cast my ballot with no trouble whatsoever. One of the volunteers escorted me to the station and talked me through the whole process, what buttons to press, how to change my mind and how to cast my vote once I had finished marking my ballot," Chuck said. "The voting process itself was flawless; it was just getting to that point which was obnoxious."
So, after all of that, what does Chuck think of the new vote center concept?
"I understand the vote center concept as it cuts down drastically on the number of volunteers needed but, seriously, how do you not then stock up on as many laptops and check-in volunteers as you possibly can at each center?" Chuck asked. "I absolutely will not think twice about voting next time, I'll just be a bit smarter as to when I go vote. And I'll make sure I have a good two-plus hours to do it."
Total time to vote: 90 minutes.
Ace Hardware, Harmony Road, Larimer County In Larimer County, where the voter center concept originated more than two years ago, Tom went to a vote center at the Ace Hardware shopping center on Harmony Rd. around 10:45 a.m.
Tom and his wife took time off from work so they could vote together. They chose the vote center in the shopping center because it was close to their home and had plenty of available parking.
This wasn't the first time Tom had used a vote center - he voted at the same shopping center in 2004 - so he knew what to expect. The first time used a vote center he "thought it was heaven. What smart person figured this out?"
When Tom and his wife arrived, the line was about 40-people deep, but moving quickly. Tom noticed that while a man was attempting to sell coffee to voters, the line was moving too quickly for anyone to stop and buy any.
Tom and his wife were checked in quickly, voted and were out the door quickly. So impressed by the experience, Tom said has crossed party lines to support County Clerk Scott Doyle (R), the man who implemented vote centers in Larimer.
"Voting was as smooth as glass in America's best voting county," Tom said "Scott Doyle is a great clerk. I voted for him again. Not all of my votes went to the left. Sometimes good government is just good government."
The 2006 vote opened the door to changes in future elections as voters picked new secretaries of state in 12 states - including changes of party in seven states.
Though the jobs have a number of other facets, many of the campaigns for the position focused extensively on election administration issues, especially in states where incumbent secretaries were defeated for re-election:
In California, Secretary Bruce McPherson (R) was defeated by State Senator Debra Bowen (D) in a race that focused largely on McPherson's management of the state's election system. Bowen campaigned on improving the scrutiny of touch-screen voting machines - a subject that can now be expected to get increased policy attention in the Golden State. Interestingly, McPherson's only television advertisement focused not on voting technology but voter ID - a popular issue for many Republicans nationwide.
In Minnesota, incumbent Mary Kiffmeyer (R) was overtaken by challenger Mark Ritchie (D) in a contest that focused extensively on Ritchie's allegations that Kiffmeyer was too focused on fraud and thus failing to properly carry out her election-related duties as Secretary. Ritchie got some high-profile assistance from a predecessor in the form of a television spot featuring former Secretary of State Joan Growe.
In Alabama, Secretary of State Nancy Worley (D) lost to State Auditor Beth Chapman (R) in a race that focused on Worley's fiscal management of her office. Worley was also hurt by the ongoing federal lawsuit over Alabama's non-compliance with the Help America Vote Act database requirement. In addition to two negative ads, Chapman ran a TV commercial in which she said "stealing your vote is like stealing your money" and promising to push for voter ID.
In four other states, the incumbent's bid for another office opened up the seat to a party switch. While Democrats succeeded in their bids to retake Congress, battles for top election posts resulted in a tie in four states:
In Georgia, Fulton County Executive Karen Handel (R) will assume the job after outgoing Secretary of State Cathy Cox (D) lost her bid for the state's gubernatorial nomination - a potentially key development given Cox's leading role in opposing the state's new photo ID requirement.
In Louisiana, State Senator Jay Dardenne (R) won an open seat race to replace Al Ater (D), who declined to seek re-election after he was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the death of his good friend, former Secretary of State Fox McKeithen.
In Nevada, Secretary Dean Heller left his job to run a successful campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives - his replacement will be Clark County Deputy District Attorney Ross Miller (D).
In Ohio, Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell (R) was defeated in his gubernatorial bid, with his seat going to election lawyer Jennifer Brunner (D).
In five other states, outgoing Secretaries were replaced with candidates of the same party:
In Colorado, State Treasurer Mike Coffman (R) - who re-enlisted with the Marine Corps and assisted with the electoral process in Iraq - will replace Gigi Dennis after winning a narrow victory over Senate Majority Leader Tom Gordon (D) clouded by voting problems in Denver.
Polk County, Iowa Auditor Mike Mauro (D) will replace Chet Culver, who was elected Governor;
In New Mexico, Bernalillo County Clerk Mary Herrera (D) will replace term-limited Rebecca Vigil-Giron;
In Rhode Island, North Providence Mayor Ralph Mollis (D) will replace Matthew Brown; and
In Wyoming, State Auditor Max Maxfield (R) will replace Joe Meyer, who was elected State Treasurer.
Further changes are also possible as new governors, mayors and state and local officials make their decisions about retaining or removing the men and women responsible for managing elections at the state and local level.
II. Election Reform News This Week
The first recount in the contested race in Sarasota County, Fla. ended Tuesday with no major changes and no additional answers to why more than 18,000 under votes were recorded in the race for the 13th Congressional district. Sarasota elections supervisor Kathy Dent told the Associated Press that the initial recount proved the touch-screen machines performed "flawlessly' while the few small mistakes in the count were attributed to the machines that scan absentee ballots and to poll worker error. A manual recount, which critics say is useless without a voter-verified paper audit trail, began today. MIT professor Ted Selker told The Miami Herald earlier this week that the design of the ballot, which was a "poster child" for poor ballot design, might have been what led to the high number of under votes in the hotly contested race for the 13th Congressional District. A second recount started Thursday. Citing the questions over this election, Rep. Rush Holt, D-N.J., reiterated a call to pass his bill (H.R. 550) mandating paper trails for electronic voting.
Wayne Vaden, Denver's clerk and recorder as well as the only full-time member of the Election Commission, resigned this week, taking his "fair share of the responsibility" for the problems encountered on Election Day in Denver, but also citing problems with the city's elections system.

In the elections so far, the reports have all involved Democratic (or Green) votes flipping to, or otherwise benefitting, Republican candidates. In South Florida, St. Louis County, Missouri, Virginia, Arkansas, Dallas, and now San Antonio, Texas.
While the alphabet media has your attention with killer spinach or the Clinton interview our representatives in government are debating on how much they can torture-pardon me, pressure detainees. There are millions of blogs out there but how many average people in America are truly aware? In my travels I find people who still think Bush is a cowboy from Texas and some who have tried their best to remove that dreaded Bush/Cheney '04 bumper sticker from their car.
It seems that there is far too much fluoride in the water and in our toothpaste which is one of the basic ingredients in PROZAC. A strange fact is that the first use of fluoridated drinking water was found in Germany's Nazi prison camps(1). I guess the Nazi's wanted to keep their prisoners calm and sedate.Far too many of us have been anesthetized. Past generations would have seen George W. Bush for what he is, nothing more than a snake oil salesmen.
They may have not been as intellectual and refined as we are today but they knew a lie when they were told one. Doublethink is the norm, because someone like Sean Hannity or Brian Kilmeade cannot possibly believe the absolute excrement that they regurgitate. For example Hannity said,
"I find it unconscionable that we're gonna tie the hands of interrogators."
Doublethink as explained by Orwell is:
"The power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them. . . . To tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing in them, to forget any fact that has become inconvenient, and then, when it becomes necessary again, to draw it back from oblivion for just so long as it is needed, to deny the existence of objective reality and all the while to take account of the reality which one denies-all this is indispensably necessary. Even in using the word doublethink it is necessary to exercise doublethink. For by using the word one admits that one is tampering with reality; by a fresh act of doublethink one erases this knowledge; and so on indefinitely, with the lie always one leap ahead of the truth."
You owe it to yourself to actually read this stuff! You will be completely amazed to learn about the propaganda the Bush administration keeps spoon feeding us!!!
