Neas, President Once Tuesday has come and gone, are you going to feel like you did everything you could to make Election Day count? To protect voters from 11th hour scare tactics and intimidation... To staff volunteers at polling places across the country to help voters navigate new voting procedures and identification requirements. . . To monitor and record voting problems with the Election Protection hotline (1-866-OUR VOTE), fully staffed with lawyers and other volunteers... PFAW Foundation and its EP partners, including the NAACP and LCCRUL, are working non-stop from here until Election Day, just three short days from now. On Election Day, our non-partisan Election Protection team will be on the ground in 16 states, with call centers in eight locations where lawyers and other volunteers will help voters overcome any obstacles put in their way. Our volunteers at the polls will hand out the "Voters' Bill of Rights" and put voters in touch with local attorneys if they're needed. And our Election Incident Reporting System (EIRS) will record voting problems phoned in from around the country. With more voters casting votes on electronic machines than ever before, we'll be looking for and documenting problems with electronic machines to help us mount a campaign to ensure every American votes on a verifiable and accountable machine by 2008. Plus, we're running radio ads in key states RIGHT NOW to encourage EVERY citizen to vote. All these critical efforts require tremendous resources. And it's not too late to help.
